Restoration and Preservation
We could not do this without the help of our many Volunteers and Donors!
One of the primary goals of the NBHF is to care for the farm where Norm grew up and for the elementary school he attended as a boy. Norm did not want these properties to be a memorial, but rather a place where the next generation could learn the values of stewardship and care for those in need.
1915 Barn Restoration
In 2017 with help from the Iowa Barns Foundation, the NBHF began restoring the historic 1915 barn built by Norm's grandfather Nels Borlaug.
